'Tulip, Silver Vase' by Amy Stewart--SOLD

6x6 inch oil on board.

I got tulips for Valentine's Day, and while anyone else's husband would have expected the flowers to sit on the hall table for a week or so, I don't think Scott was surprised that they moved from one vase and one room to another while I took pictures of them to paint! I'll have a few more of these over the next month or so.

This is on 1/2 fiberboard with dovetail slots in the back so that you can hang it on the wall, unframed, with no hardware at all if you prefer. To order, post a comment here or email amy at amy stewart dot com. Price includes Priority Mail shipping within the United States. International shipping runs an additional $5-$10 depending on the country--please ask.

RANCH ROAD VALLEY OAKS, oil painting by Kathy O'Leary

This 6 X 8 painting is of a scene I have passed many times during my travels painting and photographing California. These tall 'Valley' oaks stand beside a dirt track leading into a beautiful valley just north of willits, CA. There's talk of building a road around the town and through this ranch. If that happens, this and other scenes like it will disappear. Hopefully this painting will be a small record of what the land once was. Learn more about this painting, or bid by. SOLD

SUNSET UNDER STORMY SIERRA SKIES, original oil painting by Kathy O'Leary

This is a painting of a scene of one of the most striking sunsets I have ever seen as I returned from a trip to the Sierras and Sequoia National park just after Christmas. The clouds were a deep blue ready to drop more snow. As the sun dipped below the clouds the valley below and the edges of the clouds were bathed in a golden light, giving the snow and the edges of the Manzanita a rich warm glow. If your interested in finding out more about it on ebay, or wish to bid. SOLD
