I"ve been having a slight yen to try oils again. This is my attempt. I did this in Rockefeller Forest yesterday. I was curious if I could go back to oils and what they would look like. I’m not sure if I like it. Having gotten so used to pastels, it was a real challenge. The problem being is learning to use the oils again. I know I can do it because I learned how to use pastels. These are both 12 X 9. The oil is on panel, pastels on Wallis paper. They are not for sale, at least at this time. And they are not completed either.
