This is a 8 X 10 painting, done on canvas panel. It was painted from a trip to the Asilomar/Monterey, area of the California coast this past December. The Dunes are covered with Ice Plant, which in winter become quite red. In the afternoon light they seem to glow. SOLD
This is really beautiful. It reminds me of a painting I saw at that exhibit of California painters at the Oakland Museum. Can't remember who the artist was.
