'Camel Rock Late Light" by Steve Porter
I find it amusing when some so called experts say your not supposed to use white with watercolor. Tell that to homer, sargent or zorn. I used it here over the dark areas of the rocks and has a nice effect.11" by 15" watercolor

'The Wet Sand' By Steve Porter
I decided to leave the sky white so that the blue reflection of it in the water really stood out.
I seldom paint what is exactly there so i can push certain aspects to make an impact. This watercolor is 11"x15"

'EARLY WATERCOLOR' By Steve Porter
The background trees I thought needed more work , but then I decided to just leave it because I may end up ruining the wash. Its a fine line between knowing when to quit and going too far (which I have done too many times) As in music , sometimes you play too many notes.
