This is an 8 X 10 oil painting done on location (en plein air) at the Sacadanga River, in the Adirondaks, of upstate New York. While camping along the river last July 4th, I wanted to catch the wonderful colors of the red/brown rocks strewn through the very blue, rushing Sacandaga. Upstate New York is as beautiful as they say, and this was one of my few chances to capture some of it on canvas. SOLD
