TAKHI MARE, HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK, MONGOLIA by Susan Fox SOLD

TAKHI MARE, HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK, MONGOLIA- 8x 10" oil on canvasboard
I photographed this mare on my second trip to Mongolia in 2006. Takhi, or Przewalski's horse, are the only surviving species of true wild horse. She was with a small harem group, all grazing in the morning sun. To see a step by step demo of the creation of this painting and more on my upcoming fourth trip to Mongolia, please visit my blog at www.foxstudio.wordpress.com.
