This is a recent painting of the farmlands in Ferndale, located in Northern California, just south of Humboldt Bay along the Eel River. Ferndale is an old farming and dairy community. In early Spring & Summer you can find fields of mustard blooming throughout the river valley. Its a beautiful site, iridescent yellow against the early summer greens of the pastures and trees. This pieces is 8 x 10 on canvas covered panel. SOLD
