"Lemon Questioning the Cherries" by Linda Mitchell SOLD

5" x 7" oil on panel  SOLD
For some reason, the still life genre is one I usually avoid. Maybe it's because I find it hard to inject energy into something that isn't moving, or maybe I just find it boring. Anyway, I've been setting up groupings of fruit like this for my students to paint, so I figured I might as well join in.

  1. That cracks me up. Can't believe how much life you gave to fruit!

  2. Love this painting. It's so fresh and alive!
