This is a scene I recently saw on a trip to the Napa Valley in Central California. It caught my eye because of the deep values of the oaks coupled with the subtle oranges of the grassy hills, juxtaposed against the blue of the distant mountain range. The oranges and blues are 'complementary' colors and thus inspired the title of this piece. This painting is 8 x 10, on a canvas covered panel. SOLD
