I painted this one from one of many photos I took the other night on the Madaket cruise. The Madaket is this old boat that's been operating on Humboldt Bay for around a hundred years. Bill and I like to go on the 5:30 cocktail cruise, mainly because it's a bargain at ten bucks a person. Anyway, we decided to take the cruise the other day because it was a warm and gorgeous day, but by the time the boat left the dock, the fog was rolling in with a vengeance. It was a damp and cold cruise, but the fog was quite lovely.
