I found this beautiful vineyard in bright morning light on a recent trip to the Napa Valley wine country. The single stately palm was an interesting vertical shape constrasting the horizontal line of the field and the background hills, while repeating other vertical shapes of the scene. A fun discovery. It is painted on an 8 x 10 canvas covered panel.
