CALIFORNIA AFTERNOON, by Kathy O'Leary

This is a scene from my travels through the hills and ranch lands of Central California, near the small farming community of Holister. The hills and valleys of this land are studded with beautiful, sometimes ancient, oaks, wild grasses and shrubs. The hazy skies in late summer give a beautiful softness to the whole scene.
