"POLE BEANS IN TWILIGHT" by Alicia Tredway

Twilight is unusual lighting and very beautiful. The cool lights are similar to overcast but bluer and lavender makes its debut. The sun's influence has mostly past but can still be seen in the distant trees. This scene is from my garden several years ago and try as I might, I couldn't get a painting because it gets dark so fast. I did get a wonderful photo with a tripod though and used it as reference for this painting. 8 x 8" oil on canvas panel.

  1. Gorgeous! I've been enjoying the work you've been posting lately very much. Seemingly Effortless painting!
