This is a scene from a walk I took at sunset on dune habitat located at the north end of Humboldt Bay's sandy peninsula. The dunes of the region are covered with wild shrubs, various flowering plants and low growing pines. At sunset the dunes took on a deep warm tone, adding emphasis to the beautiful violets and gold of the sunset sky. This painting is 8 x 10 on canvas covered panel. SOLD
