I did this piece on location last Spring as I was traveling around the Central California Coast painting with California Art Club members. Morro Rock (Morro Bay) is a huge sea stack that can be seen for miles. I liked trying to paint it on a foggy day with low light and soft edges. I worked from the dunes probably a mile (or more) as the crow flies, south of the rock. This painting is 9 x 12 on canvas covered panel. SOLD
stunning!
