Pin-Up Girl by Frances Kuta

I love to paint different era's of style and clothing. The pin-up girl is fun because everything is exaggerated and shapely. This model's beautiful dress was from her own collection!

  2. Thanks Alicia...she had these big amazonian legs (beautiful)...i wanted some uplighting so I placed the light on the floor. She is an amazing model. Let me know if you would like to paint with me. I know you are far away...but sometimes...maybe you could come up..

  4. This reminds me of an Edward Hopper painting. I love Edward Hopper! This piece has a real sense of narrative. It feels like there is more of story behind it then solely a model in a costume!

  8. This is a lovely piece. You took a rather set pose and with a bit of adjustment (and yes, a great outfit) made a strong narrative painting. And I agree with one of the earlier comments, you did a wonderful job with the legs. They are beautiful.
