"EEL RIVER AFTER STORM" by Alicia Tredway

I took an umbrella and walked down to the river to see how big it was since we've had so many storms.  It was huge....the center island you see here was gone and I couldn't get down very far.  This is painted from a photo reference I took last year.  The mood, atmosphere and colors were the same so it was easy to paint from the photo.  It is oil on canvas panel 8 x 10 inches.  For more info or to bid CLICK HERE

  1. Like the tones and unpredictable quality. Feels a bit ominous to me. Was this done in grey weather?
Love the rhythm of the white water area.
