"Along Hwy 1", pastel by Ralphie Hendrix

South of Monterey, the central coastline of California stretches south with Highway 1 following the contours of the land.  Parts of this road are perched right at the ocean’s edge.  The ocean is so turquoise there that it can look like a retouched photograph, almost fake.  The ice plant on the hills were in full bloom on a bright, sunny, warm day.  This painting is 7 X 5, unmatted, in a black wood frame.  Starting bid is $65.    SOLD
