"Dry Arroyo", pastel by Ralphie Hendrix

I am a huge fan of riding trains.  I sit in the Observation car and take photos of all the places one can't see from the highway.  This painting was done from a photo I took around San Luis Obispo.  The little canyons are called arroyos.  When it rains, they become instant torrents of water careening down from the surrounding hills.  It was early summer so the arroyos are dry until fall comes bringing rain once again.  It is 8 X 6 matted in a 12 X 9 cherry frame.  Starting bid is $150.  To bid CLICK HERE.
