This is a portrait of a sweet puppy that romped in our yard for a few minutes, much to the dismay of our 6 cats! She had very strong markings. It was hard to keep from making her look like a cartoon. I sort of got it. I like to paint animals. Sometimes their faces give me a jump start when I’ve been away from my easel too long. It is an 8 X 8 matted and set in a 12 X 12 black frame.
