"Path to the Creek", pastel by Ralphie Hendrix

This is actually a figment of my imagination. I did start with a photo of this creek and the overhanging tree. But like artists do sometimes, I changed it totally. About the only thing that remained the same was the foreground tree. I didn’t care for the original painting so I scribbled some color on it. Then I let the painting talk back to me. Lots of times it does and it’s always better for the painting if I listen. This is a 8 X 8 matted and set in a black and gold frame 12 X 12. To bid CLICK HERE
