This color and sheen of this rose is is a pleasure to paint. The bush I clipped it from is about 5 feet tall with only a few lacy branches supporting large blossoms that are seemingly floating on air. I painted this rose in my studio under the skylight 'alla prima' (wet into wet) with oils on a 7x5 inch prepared panel. If you are interested in bidding click here.
