'Sunrise on the Sierras at Salmon Lake' by Theresa Oats

The Sierras at Sunrise are rich color partially because the air is so pristine.  I painted this in early morning near the edge of Salmon Lake, working in oils on a 9x12 wood panel.
I plan to exhibit this at the Sewell Gallery in Eureka along with other plein air works for the month of May.
Hope you have a happy New Year!

  1. Terry, this is just a spectacular painting. It is so ..well..optimistic...so full of the future of the day...I so look forward to seeing it in May.
