The Sierras at Sunrise are rich color partially because the air is so pristine. I painted this in early morning near the edge of Salmon Lake, working in oils on a 9x12 wood panel. I plan to exhibit this at the Sewell Gallery in Eureka along with other plein air works for the month of May. Hope you have a happy New Year! |
Terry, this is just a spectacular painting. It is so ..well..optimistic...so full of the future of the day...I so look forward to seeing it in May.
