'Cache Creek' pastel by Ralphie Hendrix

Cache Creek is a relatively large year round creek east of Clear Lake. As you drive from Hwy 101 over to I-5 on Hwy 20, you will see many views of it after leaving the lake area. I happened to be passing this way in the early spring. It was after a huge storm had passed thru, sun was out, glorious clouds filled the sky and everywhere the first green was showing. The creek was running full and clear. I feel myself there thinking of that day.
