This is another one of my train paintings. I believe I captured this image while down near San Luis Obispo. That is the absolute best place to be on the train. The tracks run far from the highway and you see things, beautiful things, that you can’t see from the car. I wondered at the time, who cut that road now all overgrown and partially lost? There’s lots of unanswered mysteries waiting for you as you look out the train window.
