Oil on 7"x7" panel. Another commission by my cousin George. I 've loved painting this little guy. I noticed black is much like white in that it reflects so many colors, maybe I should say it absorbs all colors as white reflects all colors...the science of color is vast and very interesting. Which by the way, our good friend Linda Mitchell is teaching a workshop on color July 27th. I'm in! Her's the link:
