'King Salmon' by Jim McVicker

Paul Rickard, Steve Porter and I spent an afternoon painting in King Salmon. This piece was painted in the late afternoon as everything was beautifully backlit. I painted very quickly and managed to make it work.  Oil on linen on panel  9x12

    Jim - you must have really painted on the cuff after I left. Love the colors -- the light on the bank and the values. You nailed it.
