'Lunar Vortex' by Theresa Oats

The design and brushwork of 'Lunar Vortex'  are depicted accurately in this image.
The color is intensified by the light from the computer screen.  I'm inspired by this effect and plan to do another moon painting by tinting the painting surface with an intense undercoat and laying down the same expressive brushwork.
