Oil on 8x10" panel. Hens are one of my favorite birds, they have personality and they're curious which makes them nice to paint. I sat and watched them for hours as I attempted to paint the landscape. One hen jumped right on my french easel, then she crouched under the easel and poked her head out just under my canvas, she repeated this activity several times, soon I got the message, she would be the muse for my painting.
Just like my cat !
