'Field Callas' pastel by Ralphie Hendrix

When artist friends lived much closer down in Los Gatos, I used to travel down there to paint with them. This is one of the plein air pieces I did, by a lovely field along side the country road. I didn’t put the horses in this one. But it was a lovely day, air was soft and warm, slight breeze blowing, perfect for painting outside.
