'Low Tide, Evening' by Jim McVicker

These two painting were painted consecutive evenings after long days of painting. I didn't think I had anything left in me, but when I looked down at the low tide and the people on the beach I managed about another half hour of painting. Each piece was painted in one quick session with a few touches afterward. The paintings are 6x9, oil on linen panel.

  1. Nice paintings ..Hard to believe you can pull these off in such a short time. I went out this afternoon . the fog has been hugging the coast and beautiful sun/ fog mix..

  2. I like the bands of color the surf creates. Like a rainbow!

    1. Thanks everyone for the comments. Jim
