Pigeon study-a work in progress by Rachel K Schlueter

Oil on 12x12" canvas. I love doing one or two color studies. I've decided to let this dry and add color later.
This way of working tends to soften the pace and simplify the process. Also, gives me a chance to work on the rendering more.
