The shifting early morning light changed the colors and mood as the sun rose ever higher. The colors
complimented the strong relating shapes of the trees. I worked in oils on a 12x9 inch panel from the vantage point of a bench that offered a full view of the trees and surrounding park. If you're interested in seeing this work in person it will be featured in an exhibit opening this Tuesday at the Sewell Gallery at 423 F St. in Eureka. The show includes many local artists.
This is a beautiful painting Terry and I saw it in the Sewell today and it's even more lovely in the real.
