Lately I have been diving into figurative painting, running three figure painting sessions a week and teaching a fourth session. When I'm not working from the model, I've been experimenting from photos like this one from Senshistock. In this piece, I was interested in the narrow color range and the geometry of the model. The piece measures about 15" x 12" oil on gessoed paper.
