Yet another flower I came across while walking around town, had to paint it, but have no idea the name of... 

I've been thinking deeply about the direction of my art lately. It's gotten to the point that I need to try new things to see if I can address some of my concerns. In this painting I was interested in making the leaves look like they were floating, I was also interested in using stronger, more brilliant colors.
