"Coacholla Palms," by Alicia Tredway

In 2015 six women painters took to the desert to paint.  We stayed together in an original adobe owned by Sally Hayes who along with her family made us very welcome.  We stayed for a month and painted in and around 29 Palms.  There are so many scenic places and this is the incredible Coacholla Palms that dwarf a person.  These palms and the water bubbling up from the earth's plates are sitting square on the St. Andreas Fault.  That's Rachel strolling toward us. The painters include Rachel S, Kathy O, Linda M, Joan D, Regina C and myself.
