A friend and avid gardener suggested planting daffodils to provide subject matter in late winter and early spring.

I have a new found respect for daffodils considering these flowers have each been pounded on by rain all week and still look ''as fresh as a daisy."

This was painted with wet into wet oil paint on a 6x4 panel.
