"DRY CREEK" Oil Painting by KathyO'Leary



This is a scene I've been wanting to paint for awhile. I love last/late light scenes, and I saw this during a Fall trip through California hills. I like both the contrast of the cool shadows and warm light, and the subtle color complements that often become visible when there is strong light and shadow. Challenging but fun to paint. This painting is 9 x 12 on masonite panel. SOLD
