"BACK YARD SCENE" by Alicia Tredway

This is a scene I consider my back yard which is really just the woods behind the house.  It was so pleasurable with the weather just right for plein air painting.  The many greens and shadows and in particular the edge of an old fenced area where I plant my corn were my primary concern.  The cat and bird came later and were done from photo reference.  Measurement is 10 x 8 inches oil on canvas panel.
