This is a night still life. I've been painting non stop for a show and almost forgot to post. The rose had been in the vase for a few days and beginning to sag in a most delightful way. I set it up on a table top against a mirror and darkish middle toned drape and added the blue pot and bud. It's a little hard to read but their reflections can be seen in the mirror. I find the composition a little bizarre but it pleases me none the less. This small oil on canvas panel measures 8 x 6 inches. To bid
