Young Westerland by Theresa Oats

Just before reaching full bloom this young rose was moving up and down with a mild

breeze. It's beautiful shape and rich color inspired me to set up my easel and paint,

with the intention of giving a feeling of the breeze it was riding on.

Painted on a 5x7 wood panel on location with oils -wet into wet paint.
