When I was visiting my Sister in law's family in Oregon last year. Her husband Bob Daley took me out into the farmland near Corvalis to do some landscape painting. We stopped by the side of the road and painted a view of Mary's peak on a sunny winter day.

"Pink Roses" oil on canvas board 11" x 14" (28cm x 36cm)
by Andrew Daniel
in the collection of Dennis Daniel and Sydney Wilde-Daniel
I was thinking about Pierre Bonnard with this one. He
is one of my favorite painters! The way he scatters his brush strokes
creates movement and looseness that looks almost ethereal! Here is a
link to his paintings.
