Triangle Pasture by Theresa Oats
My favorite season to paint our property is winter. The low sun casts high contrast shadows across the land and intensifies colors. Here, a redwood tree is the source of shade moving from left to right and a large group of spruces open to reveal a view of the Pacific Ocean.I painted from our second story deck, working with wet into wet oil paint on a 12x16 inch prepared wood panel.
