'Cat on a Step' pastel by Ralphie Hendrix

 This is Jujube, our orange female cat. She was abandoned and found her way to our house early one winter. She lived with us for many years before passing on. I always loved painting her because orange cats can be difficult to paint. Tho the temperature of her coat appears warm, there are many parts of the coat that must appear cool. I sure am glad I have many photos of her.
