Paul Rickard set up a day last Sunday to paint with Otto. We went down to the old boat basin on First Street in Eureka. Otto was working on a large painting with it lying flat on the dock, the way he has always painted. I chose to paint him rather than the boats. This is the boat launch dock, so we had a lot of activity coming and going. 14x11 oil on linen panel
I like the way everything is somewhat tonal with his canvas full of color..My favorite painting of otto
