"Silver Mine, Shack" by RK Schlueter
9x12" oil on panel
Not typical of what I would normally choose to paint. It was Stock's idea to paint this crazy place. I went along to see what the challenge might yield. After all this whole year is about stepping outside the norm. I've observed a pattern of mine which is throw myself into chaos and see what happens.
Anyway, I like the paining. And I think it was just a good day painting. I could be standing in front of my dream landscape and fail miserably. This is what makes painting a great adventure. It's all or nothing and sometimes it's nothing at all.

so lively and beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot. The colors and structure are very engaging and really do bring about the energy of the land and history.
