This was painted recently while painting with the "Sunday Painter's Group" at Emerson Slough. I loved the tonal quality and minimum details of the morning light when I started the piece. Once the sun came out, it brought out more details, light and shadows, and the whole effect changed. I decided to stay with my initial response. "Morning on The Slough", 11 x 14, oil on linen panel.
