Although it's hard to see in the photograph, I was playing around with gold leaf in a few areas. I'm told I would need two photographs merged with filters etc. and since it's only 6 x 6 I thought better of it. I've had the gold leaf practically my whole painting career but this is the first time I've actually used it. It's so thin a special natural hair brush is used to lift and manipulate it (friction) and it's adhered with gel medium which is actually a glue. Painting is at auction DailyPaintWorks. go here
