Landscape with Lupine by Rachel Schlueter

Sold
Oil on 9"x12" panel. This painting marks the beginning of plein air season for me. Every summer is dedicated to painting the landscape on location with friends and family. Yesterday a few of us went up to Bald Hills Road where the lupine were blooming in mass, blanketing the hill sides, the fragrance was intoxicating.

  1. This is really a beauty Rachel. Keep painting like this in June and you are going to have one heck of a show! I want to be here walking down that path.

  2. I wish I could be there for a week just painting those saturated color combinations, truley spectacular, so many variations of green against every other imaginable spring time hue. Thanks for visiting!
