SoldOil on 9"x12" panel. This painting marks the beginning of plein air season for me. Every summer is dedicated to painting the landscape on location with friends and family. Yesterday a few of us went up to Bald Hills Road where the lupine were blooming in mass, blanketing the hill sides, the fragrance was intoxicating.
This is really a beauty Rachel. Keep painting like this in June and you are going to have one heck of a show! I want to be here walking down that path.
