Oil on 6"x6" panel, alla prima. I have turned my attention this week to the Grizzly. The inspiration for this painting came from a photo in a book but also from a mysterious place in my Psyche, I have had many encounters over the years with the bear during dream time and I have had real encounters several times while camping. This strange connection feels very intense and surreal, when I paint the bear my creativity is electrified.
